Kenny’s Passing: A Reflection on a Meaningful Life

Letting Go Is Hard, But It’s Necessary

Kenny and I have always been close, walking in similar footsteps throughout our entire lives. We have shared countless moments of joy and laughter, as well as endured the hardships that life throws at us.

Although I will miss my brother dearly, I will always cherish the thousands of memories we made together. The sadness lies in the fact that we won’t be able to create more memories together.

Kenny and I didn’t always agree on everything, but where would the fun be in that?

Now, it’s my turn to be strong and help bring our family together during this phase.

“Kenny, while I didn’t choose you to be my brother, I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else. We have both lived our lives according to our own choices. Seventy-one and a half of my years side by side may not have been enough, but it’s what God gave us. And for that, I am grateful”.

Kenny lived a remarkable life, pursuing his dreams and fulfilling his desires with few regrets. It’s a privilege that not many of us can claim. Now, it is time for him to join his beloved daughter Kim, our parents, and many other loved ones.

“Rest in Peace My Good Man”

  1. Ronnie I am so sorry , it is hard to loose a loved one, especially a brother and friend like Kenny.. Hang on to those precious memories they will give you and your family strength through this rough time. I love your stories about you two growing up, especially the breaking of the Shelton ponies, one precious memory.
