My son Mike & I were visiting yesterday. He said “I have video I need to send you”.  It turns out that he was coming out Marble Falls one time, a while back, and hit the record button on his phone. It recorded for about 18 minutes while he came along 1431 then turned on 1174 went over Hickory Pass, up Doe Skin Hill. The clip ends about the time he passed 1869 that heads over to Liberty Hill. 

He said I might want to use it or part of it in a YouTube sometime. 

After watching it, I have about 1000 incidents that popped in my mind, crazy things, sweet memories, just daily life that has happened during my almost 74 years or traveling that stretch of road. 

So I decided to tell you about one such thing that took place one night, probably in about 1966 or 67 – some sixty years ago.
