I always figured that it would come to this one day. I’ve had several posts that have been removed over the past few weeks, on the Angora Chronicles and other groups I belong to. Each time it happened, as with the historical account of the Texas State Hog Farm that was located right in the big middle of Cedar Park, now known as the Lakeline area.
It was written in a way to let folks know how life was back when I was growing up. It was removed from 2 Austin groups. I thought it was done in error because no one, not anyone could have been offended.
On each of those groups I ask for a review. I turned around and reposted it with a different lead in, as a way of trying to learn what they may have thought was improper.
It’s still up on one group, but I was admonished by the Administrator of the other group telling me that I was not allowed to repost something that had been removed, blah blah blah.
You can probably guess where that all lead. Any way I won’t be posting anything else in the Dazed and/or Confused Group (in the title of that group)
It seemed to me that the liberals in Austin that may buy into that censorship crap have infiltrated way too much local territory.
Nuff said on that subject. This job (of posting on Facebook) doesn’t pay well enough to really matter. 😂😂😂😂
But this all brings me to an incident that occurred a little while ago concerning a post I made on Angora Chronicles yesterday. It was removed . I’ll give screen shots of my interactions concerning this below.

It was the post I made about my thoughts on “Funerals”. That post seemed to be well received, with many comments and likes. There was nothing that could have been misinterpreted. I’ve determined that FB is a complete mess that may only get worse. Yes I lodged my own protest to it being removed. Who knows if I’ll ever hear back from anyone. I’ll be sure to report back if I do hear from them.
So here is the deal. It’s is very time consuming to do what I do, posting as much as I do in all the places. I am not willing to put forward the effort to continue on writing and sharing in this format. If Mark Zuckerberg himself could come to me and explain what the hell is going on, I may think differently. But that’s not going to happen so my future efforts will be to continue to copy the hundreds of stories that may have meaning to people down the road and reproduce them on my WordPress Blog space.
I don’t think the WordPress format offers me the opportunity to tell stories and then be able to see the comments, which are so valuable in bringing those writings full circle. In the meantime I’ll look for another forum that can be as interactive as Facebook has been, but I really don’t think one currently exists.
I’m not sure how many will remember this phrase from Eddie Childs when he ran for Texas Governor in the 1990s.
“I’m mad as hell, and I’m not going to take it anymore!” as part of his campaign for governor of Texas in the 1990s. His campaign was characterized by a strong message of frustration with the political establishment and a call for change. The quote resonated with many voters who were feeling disillusioned with the political system at the time.

As I’ve said before “Those Snot-Nosed, Booger Eaters that are running Facebook are completely out of control and have no idea what real life is all about.
So Mark Zuckerberg, pour hundreds of millions of dollars in to Making Facebook Great Again (MFGA) instead of corrupting another elections. (I know you have said you understand your mistake with funding $400 million in the 2020 election, now straighten out this mess you are responsible for).
Or Mark Z, send me a couple million for my pain and suffering, and I’ll pretend this never happened.
If you didn’t read my Funerals essay yesterday, here it is. (Sorry you can’t see the comments and likes. They were great)
I’m backing you and old Eddie Childs, Ronnie. Hang in there. I have some interesting history on the Hog Farm. Someday I’ll visit with you and fill you in.
