There’s a lady that used to contribute to the Angora Chronicles regularly. In fact she is the very best around for finding interesting photos and articles about a wide range of things related to Texas History and such.
She has been a major contributor to all those Bob Dunn and Will Beauchamp Texas History Groups. In fact if you aren’t familiar with all those great groups check them out. I bet you can find one or more that you are interested in.

I looked back and noticed it’s been months without seeing anything out her. The post about the Armadillo Ranch in Comfort was one she came up with.
She and I used to visit back and forth often, as she lives in Marble Falls and has for a good number of years, but had never met her in person. Not having any contact information on her, I was unable to find a way to call her, and of the 3 friends we share in common, neither of them had heard anything out of her either.
Heck I wasn’t doing anything so I snooped around and found out her address and drove over and knocked on her front door.
We had a wonderful visit. She is doing fine, but like many of us she has been dealing with computer issues from being repeatedly hacked. Seems she has all but given up on getting back online.
Hopefully with a little encouragement and letting her know how much we have all enjoyed her research, maybe we’ll see her on here again before long.
We can’t let the hackers and scammers win.
Keep looking and maybe you’ll see Jolene Haney before long.
In fact go to the search bar and type in her name to see some of the more iconic photos that we’ve all enjoyed so much.
