Madeline always told her grandchildren that she would take them on a special trip when they graduate from high school. It was up to each one of them to figure out where they’d go and they could also take a friend.

Then she made a photo book chronicling their trip.

Tyler, the oldest went into the Marine’s after high school, so his trip was delayed. When he got out of the service, she took him to Cuba. Just the two of them.

Holly wanted to see Paris and other parts of France. Her friend Meagan went too.

Nathan wanted to go to California. He took his cousin Brian along, so he was assured to get a two-fer.

Emma selected Iceland for her trip with her friend Sam accompanying her.

Madeline is currently working on a book for Will’s trip to Italy. His friend Jaden was along on that one. It took place in the summer of 2023. (I’ll add it when it gets back to her)

Now the younger granddaughters are starting to mull over where they want to go. It’s a few years away, but the anticipation is a part of the grand plan.
