I am so Thankful that FaceBook allows this to be a smaller world and that we can come together as family.

On Tuesday, 2 days before Thanksgiving we were able to welcome many of Madeline’s family, most that she hadn’t met before or had only seen a limited number of times. There were cousins that she knew existed, but as often times happens, only a long ago funeral were the only thing that would have brought them together.

In the Baugh Family, we found so many wonderfully nice folks. Everyone came and contributed food to allow us to have a nice feast.

They came from close by places like Temple and Llano, from over in East Texas and even from California. Madeline’s uncle Butch Sayers and Janice were supposed to be here, but a sudden trip to the hospital for Butch prevented them for attending. Butch is back home and on the mend.

I think that besides the adults, with kiddos, including 4 of our granddaughters there were 20 or more of us in attendance.

A special thanks to Kelli Baugh Tudyk for coordinating this great happening. It was great see John Baugh, someplace other than just on Facebook.

They all know where to find us now and hopefully they’ll come by anytime they come through Bertram.
