I guess I’ve neglected to keep y’all apprised of my latest endeavor. It’s 3D Printing. On one of the forums I’ve subscribed to the following post appeared.

Why would anyone be asking for people to donate their poop?

Luckily I was well enough versed in the lingo of 3D Printing at this point so I knew what she was asking for.

When the printer changes colors, it’s necessary to expel the one color in preparation to go to the next. It sends it out a little chute in the rear of the printer, aptly called a poop-chute.

These little colored plastic squiggles are the poop. I’m like the person that narrated the introductory video that came with my machine – “why didn’t they come up with a better name than that?”

As time goes along I’ll be talking more and showing you photos of some of the neatest things that can come out of this little box, that is besides poop.
