When the ones we love go away to college, we are as full of dreams as they are. Our very precious oldest granddaughter, Holly finished high school just a little less than 4 years ago and headed off to Waco to attend Baylor University. It took her a little while to determine what her best direction would be with her major. She finally settled on a Communications Degree (actually it’s something about “Digital Communications”) and she went to work and graduated after 3 1/2 years.

Because of her outstanding performance she was allowed to spend the final semester of her time at Baylor studying in New York City, and had a couple of Internships. Many of our family members got to join her in the Big Apple for Thanksgiving. When she graduated this past December I was nervous about what direction things would take with her. I was sure she would be successful, but my fear was she would end up moving to LA or NYC.

Well she started applying all around the country and ended up taking a job a couple of days ago. Her job is right here in Austin. Her new position, as Promotions Assistant is with a Radio Station Group that has 4 of the most popular stations in town. Those being Majic 95.5, Hot 95.9, Mix 94.7 & Talk Radio 1370. She declares it to be her “Dream Job“.

Holly we love you and could not be prouder and happier. God is good and great parenting didn’t hurt.
